Hurricane Tumbao Dance Company was formed in September 2006 and officially debuted in April 2007. Though relatively new to the world of salsa competition, Hurricane Tambao has quickly earned a reputation for excellence throughout the latin dance community. The team has earned high marks from critics far and wide in areas of performance, competition, instruction, and dance technique, and is one of Portland's favorite performance teams.
